Ryan Reid, Optometrist (OD)
Ryan Reid, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2010, and earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, the Denver Metro Optometric Society, and is active in the local community with the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Reid’s clinical rotations included glaucoma diagnosis and management at Nova Southeastern Glaucoma Clinic, as well as rotations in primary care/low vision, contact lens, and strabismus/amblyopia. He also completed his multidisciplinary ocular disease training at Center for Sight in Sarasota, Florida, and Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach.
Dr. Reid has been practicing optometry since 2010, and his fields of special interest include ocular disease and glaucoma. Building strong relationships with his patients so he can learn about their visual needs is most important to Dr. Reid. In addition, he finds it very rewarding to see his patients’ families grow each year when they return for their annual eye exams.
In his time away from the office, Dr. Reid enjoys spending time with his family, as well as staying active by playing golf and snowboarding.
Mariana Reid, Optometrist (OD)
Mariana Reid, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned a second Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Minor in Biology, from Florida International University.
Dr. Reid completed her ocular disease training at Dorn Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina, and at Indian Health Services in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. While completing her coursework, Dr. Reid was active in SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) where she spent time providing medical outreach to underserved populations in Peru and helping them access vision and ocular health care.
Dr. Reid is devoted to providing patients of all ages with thorough primary eye care to help them see their world with their best vision. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Reid is proud to be bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. She enjoys furthering her training and skills through continuing education programs which she happily attends with her optometrist husband, Dr. Ryan Reid.
When not in the office treating patients, Dr. Reid loves spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and taking long nature walks.
