Vasi Alevras-Sztukowski, O.D.

Dr. Alevras-Sztukowski grew up in Southern California. She graduated in 1993 from the University of California, Riverside and obtained her doctorate in Optometry in 1997 from The Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice here at Eyecare Consultants since that time. She enjoys cycling and trail running in Evergreen where she resides with her husband Robert.

Dr. Alevras-Sztukowski is a member of the Colorado and American Optometric Association. She has a particular interest in specialty contact lenses, glaucoma, and seeing children as patients. She is also an associate clinical investigator for FDA studies in eye care.

Claire Diekema, O.D.

Dr. Claire Diekema received her Doctor of Optometry in 2016 from the Ohio State University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University.
When Dr. Diekema first got glasses as a young girl, she could not believe everything she had been missing due to poor vision. It was right then that she decided Optometry would be a gratifying career, and she still believes that today.

Dr. Diekema has been practicing Optometry since 2016. She says she likes talking with her patients to create a plan that provides them with both clear vision and healthy eyes. Dr. Diekema says the fact that no two pairs of eyes are the same is what keeps her job interesting.

Dr. Diekema enjoys being very involved in her community and served as Vice President for the West Michigan Optometric Association before relocating to the Denver area. In her spare time, Dr. Diekema enjoys traveling as well as participating in outdoor activities such as paddle-boarding, water skiing, hiking, and snow skiing.

Sharnelle Kamibayashi, O.D.

Sharnelle Kamibayashi, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University’s College of Optometry, graduating with distinction, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society each year. Dr. Kamibayashi completed an optometric residency at Georgia Eye Partners, specializing in ocular disease with an emphasis in cornea and contact lenses, and refractive and ocular surgery. She is also a proud member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the Colorado Optometric Association.

Inspired by her father, who has been legally blind from a young age, Dr. Kamibayashi is very passionate about clear vision and feels there is nothing more important than serving others by providing quality eyecare.

When not in the office, Dr. Kamibayashi loves spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, hiking, and dancing – she even danced for the NBA Portland Trail Blazers before starting optometry school.
